Make sure you go to a dermatologist to get this done. They have the latest in technology (which is way better from even five years ago), and they can tell you what's the best thing for your skin. My results were great - and I got it done years ago - I'm sure it's better now a days. Side effects? A bit painful, maybe a little red - or discolored, but it'll go away quickly...good luck!
